Drawing inspiration from a report by the MIT Media Lab, which suggests that olfactory stimuli during sleep can improve the positive content of dreams and increase sleep quality, I have been exploring the potential use of scents to influence dream content. My goal is to alleviate subconscious anxiety and stress through this approach.

The Dream Spray I’m developing allows users to select different scents for different stages of sleep. For example, lavender can help them fall asleep, while chamomile can be used to combat nightmares, as detected by the accompanying app. This personalized approach aims to promote a more restful sleep.

The Dream Spray, which is intended to be placed on the wall above the user’s bed, is designed to work in tandem with the Dream Wander App. The device releases scents based on the user’s dream activity, as detected by the app.

To facilitate this functionality, the Aroma Bottle is divided into four columns, with each column containing a different liquid scent.
